George Demick, Director

Originally from Pittsburgh, George now calls Middle Tennessee home. As a hobby filmmaker, George become an apprentice to George Romero on his film Knight Riders. During this time, he was introduced to Stephen King and talked the horror novelist into letting him adapt the short story, Graveyard Shift into a film.

With an impressive background, from working as a writer, director and editor for Phoenix Productions to forming Black Knight Productions (Blind Terror and Asylum Of Terror), he also wrote and directed for a time for Heartland Production. He then worked as an editor for Euphoric Productions.

The following years have seen him helm the productions of Demon Sight and The Shelter, The Burning Dead, The Ghast and a film noir short entitled Mange. George currently is the Director for Flickering Candle Productions.

Chuck Nicholson, Producing Partner

Producing Partner, Chuck Nicholson, met George Demick in Nashville in 2004 and worked alongside him on many of Ghost Ship Films features. In 2006, Mr. Nicholson produced Horotica an erotic horror anthology that Mr. Demick directed. Mr. Nicholson brings years of experience and creativity to Flickering Candle Productions L.L.C.
 

 

Cast

Jonell Mosser (as Abey)

Jonell worked with the cream of Music City’s players, singers and writers while building a reputation as one of the hottest performers in Nashville. Jonell Mosser has sung in the studio with Etta James, Rodney Crowell, Patti Smyth, Vince Gill, B. B. King, Wynonna, A. J. Croce, Waylon Jennings, Trisha Yearwood, and many others. She recorded and performed as The New Maroons with Ringo Starr, Don Was, Benmont Tench and Mark Goldenberg, including a performance at Farm Aid, and has also performed with Delbert McClinton, Levon Helm, John Prine and Keb Mo'. Bonnie Raitt brought her on stage at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center to share the lead vocal on Prine's "Angel From Montgomery." This is her motion picture debut. Brian Canada (as Nick Thomas)

Brian has worked on several motion pictures with George with lead roles in Burning Dead and The Ghast. He was also a supporting player in Demon Sight.  In addition to his acting credits, he has also worked a production designer and CGI artist.

Barbara Rucker (as Magpie)

Barbara played Sandy McGuire on As the World Turns from 1975-1979. She has been featured in many movies and television shows including Texas, A Man called Sloane, and the original The Stepford Wives. She also has over 2000 national commercials to her credit.

Pat Reilly (as Gerald Thomas)

Pat has been acting on film since the early sixties. His film credits include Tough Enough, Future Shock, The First Family, Last Days of Frank And Jessie James, and Dear John.

Linda Wylie (as Elsa)

Known nationally as Nurse Moan-eek from Chiller Cinema fame, Linda has acted on several movies including Changing Hearts, Daltry Calhoun and The Shelter.


Ted Alderman (as Tanner Downes)

Ted has starred in the horror movies Wolfsbayne and Dead Last as well producing and starring in Vampire Tales and The Deepening.  Visit his website:  tedAlderman.com




Kristen Lane (as young Magpie)

A model for Nascar and Extreme Sports, Kristen is also making her acting debut in Dark Infestation.


Dave Chattam (as George)

Since 2000, Dave has acted in a string of movies including The Last Castle, Jeremiah Strong, The Shelter, and The Human Trace.






Perry Poston (as Jerry Stewart)

Perry is one of the principal actors in Stubbys' Place,  Nashville’s funniest comedy show on cable TV. In feature productions, he's also played in Jack's Terror, Exit 38, as well as Uncle Irving Eichel in the thriller Beyond The Wall Of Sleep.

B.J. Brown (as Dean Halsey)

Currently on the Gallatin film commission, B.J. has produced his own films as well as acting in several others, including A letter from Death Row, Films that Suck, and The Shelter.

Meigie Mabry (as Mary)

She was born in Natchez, MS. and grew up there, in New Orleans, and on the Gulf Coast until moving to Nashville in the late 60's.    She has been performing since she was a child and knew she wanted to act when she read Othello at the age of six.




Callaway (as Jill)
Fifteen-year old singing sensation, Callaway, is currently singing with Grammy winner and 2007 nominee, Sam Moore, and just returned from a tour in Tokyo, Japan! Callaway has recently appeared on David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and The Craig Ferguson Show, as well as The Charlie Rose Show, where she sang live onstage with Sting.  Look for Callaway again in January 2007 on the Emeril Show in NY.

Angi Pryor (as Dani)
Angi started modeling 6 years ago. She has worked with photographers Jerald Bohnenblust, Dan Scanna, Richard Knight, Jamie Turner, Chuck Dailey, Lee Baird, and Gregory Goff. This is Angi's second film with George.  Angi now is hoping to do more movies and commercial print work.
